A great team building day at Heythrop House for Thrifty Cars Annual Conference, teams were challenged to do some code breaking to deactivate a bomb, Cracking in to a safe to collect their bespoke “spy dollars”, moving through our laser maze, six delegates at a time, talking each other through the beams while trying to avoid setting off the alarm! We moved the delegates outside so they could test their skills at sniper school, using our high powered air rifles with x4 telescopic sights, followed by axe throwing, pistol draw techniques… who was the fastest gun? Time for delegates to use their brains again with the thunderball challenge and communication skills aiding their colleagues through a minefield. Our instructors are on hand to encourage, engage and inspire our clients, making a great day even better!
Chris West, a regular contributor to Lusso Magazine heads to an undisclosed location in the middle of the country to meet up with ex-special forces officer Dave Thomas for lessons in evasive driving. Dave, MD of Spy Games and a private security company talks us through the manoeuvres, his opinion on the new Cadillac SRX4 and the Hummer H3. Fred Smith, an evasive driving expert runs us through the technique for the perfect J-Turn, a move that allows the car to move from a fast reverse to normal, forward motion in one continuous swing.
